Dr. Rajkumar Halder, CEO, and Founder of Ruhvenile Biomedical has 22+ years of extensive basic and translational research experience in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, and Drug Discovery including 10+ years abroad.

He has worked with leading research institutes and universities around the globe like the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India; The Scripps research institute, La Jolla, CA, USA; and Max Planck Institute, Germany. He has industrial expertise with Novartis (GNF), San Diego, CA, USA.

He has worked with Nobel laureate (2021) professor Benjamin List.

Dr. Rajkumar is currently focusing on controlling cell fate using small organic molecules and natural products to prevent or cure metabolic disorders (Cancer, Diabetes, and Obesity) and infectious diseases. He also focuses on prolonging healthy living through establishing and using a cocktail of natural products.

Industry Experience

Two and half years of Pharmaceutical Industry Experiences at Novartis (GNF), San Diego, CA, USA, on drug discovery for resistant and persistent Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. His research work resulted in a few clinical and preclinical compounds for different diseases.

Research Expertise

He completed his Ph. D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of the Basque Country, Spain after finishing his study at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, India. He did his postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute, Department of Chemistry and the Skaggs Institute for Chemical Biology, La Jolla, California, and Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research, Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany.
