From raw sample to amplification in 3 steps
- Collect and mix.
Combine your specimen with ALCHESIS™ at 1:1 or a targeted volumetric ratio in a standard microcentrifuge tube. - Lyse and inactivate.
Pathogens are inactivated and nucleic acids released. For tough cells, heat at 90–95°C for 10–15 minutes. Fragile cells and blood-borne pathogens lyse instantly at ambient temperature. - Amplify directly.
Centrifuge briefly to pellet debris, then pipette a small aliquot of the clear supernatant into your LAMP or PCR assay.

Do I need to extract DNA or RNA before PCR or LAMP?
